How you pay us, and what happens to your money along the way.
Accepted payment methods
- Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover
- Apple Pay and Google Pay
- PayPal
- SnarkTees gift cards and store credit
When you're charged
Your card is authorized at checkout and charged when the order is confirmed. If an item turns out to be unavailable, we refund that portion immediately.
Currency
All prices are listed and charged in US dollars. If your card is issued outside the US, your bank sets the exchange rate and may add a foreign transaction fee we have no control over.
Security
- All payment data is encrypted in transit with TLS
- Card details are handled by a PCI-DSS compliant processor
- We never see or store full card numbers
Sales tax
Sales tax is calculated at checkout based on your shipping address and applicable state and local rates.
Failed payments
If a payment is declined, the order isn't created and nothing is charged. Any “pending” amount you see is an authorization hold that your bank releases automatically, typically within 3–5 business days.
Discount codes
- One promo code per order
- Codes can't be applied retroactively to placed orders
- Promotional pricing doesn't stack with clearance pricing
Chargebacks
Please talk to us before disputing a charge — almost everything is fixable with one email, and it's dramatically faster than a bank dispute.
